The flag of Laos is called the moon flag, is a flag with three horizontal stripes. Consisting of red - Blue-Red In which both the red bands are the same size The blue bar is the same size as the two red bars combined. Inside, there is a white circle in the center. Blue refers to the country's abundant wealth. Red means the blood of the struggle for freedom of Laos people. The white circle represents the full moon that shines above the Mekong River, representing national unity under the rule of the Lao People's Revolutionary Government. And the country's bright future.

Each part of the flag has the following meaning.  Yellow means unity. Green means peace, tranquility and greenery of the land of Burma. Red means brave, resolute. The five-pointed star represents a stable union.

Divided into 3 blue stripes, 2 stripes and the middle stripe, red stripe. Red means Stone Castle, Angkor Wat. White means peace and religion. Blue means the Royal Institute.
